Savor: Central Park Crepes at Universal Studios Orlando

Universal Studios Orlando has many quick service options to choose from.  None are quite as unique as Central Park Crepes.

Located across from Café La Bamba, this eatery offers a solid selection of Savory and Sweet crepes. Central Park Crepes has been popular since it opened back in 2020 and continues to be a crowd pleaser.

Savory Crepes

The menu does seem to change at least once annually but never disappoints.  The current Central Park Crepes menu has two Savory options, a Pork Carnitas, and a Smoked Brisket.

When we first visited this eatery we had the Smoked Brisket, and it was simply delicious.  The beef was flavorful, juicy, and tender. The Crepe comes with pepper jack cheese and coleslaw.  I’m not usually a fan of coleslaw but it gives this dish just the crunch that it needed.  The golden BBQ ranch on the crepe melds beautifully with the meat and gives just the right amount of sweet.

I was happy to see that the Smoked Brisket remains on the latest version on the Central Park Crepe menu.  When we originally tried this dish, it was priced at $9.99.  Since then, the price has increased to $11.99

The Pork Carnitas comes with pork shoulder, grilled peppers and onions, cilantro puree, cotija cheese, and tomato salsa.  It’s also priced at $11.99.

Sweet Crepes

I am disappointed to see that the Sweet option that we tried, the Cookies & Cream Crepe is no longer an option on the menu.

Just in case it comes back, and make no mistake, I’m pulling for it to come back let me tell you about it.  This crepe was made with OREO® cookie crumbles, OREO® mascarpone whipped cream, chocolate ganache and powdered sugar.

Need I say more?  Believe me when I say that it tasted just as good it sounds.  It was sweet without being overly so and for the chocolate lover in you, it hit the spot.

Currently on the menu for Sweet options, you have Vegan Berry and Strawberry Hazelnut.  The Vegan Berry is made with fresh berries, coconut whipped topping, vegan cream cheese, toasted almonds, and raspberry sauce.

The Strawberry Hazelnut is made with Nutella® mascarpone, Nutella® strawberries, whipped cream, and powdered sugar.  Both options are priced at $11.99 and $9.99 respectively.

You can also pick up a beverage from this location to go with your Sweet or Savory crepe.

In the world of theme park food this one rises above the other options available in the park.  Every time we visit Universal Studios Orlando, we consider making a stop at Central Park Crepes and I can say that I suggest that you do too!

Savor the journey!
