So, is Splitsville Worth It?

The food at Splitsville Orlando receives rave reviews, but is it really worth leaving the theme parks for a meal there?

In our humble opinion, the answer to this one is yes! If you're looking for a unique dining and entertainment experience with premium ingredients in a fun, retro setting, it could be worth leaving the parks behind for the day.

The Food is Surprisingly Good

Considering where you are, the food at Splitsville is a standout. They offer a wide range of options from their sushi rolls and flatbreads to burgers, salads, and main plates. Everything is made in-house from high-quality, fresh ingredients.

Share some appetizers like the truffle fries or tuna tartare, then get an entree like the taco bowl or sweet n’ spicy chicken bowl. There’s truly something for everyone.

Let's take a look at the available food choices we made on our visit.

Appetizers and Small Plates

Splitsville offers a range of appetizers to share like nachos, fries, and sliders just to name a few. We can personally vouch for the cone of fries and the chicken tenders. Both of these apps were very good.

We especially enjoyed the chive dip with the cone of fries. Both apps were large enough to share. Coming in at about $26 for both, seemed reasonable given the huge portion sizes.

Sushi and Salads

Splitsville is known for its sushi. It is one of the things that we knew we had to try for ourselves. The Sushi lover in our group ordered the Fantasy Roll, which came with fresh salmon, steamed shrimp and ahi tuna.

The plate arrived with 10 pieces of sushi and were all well received. The sushi was fresh and properly prepared, which we were surprised to find in the middle of a bowling alley.

We also tried the Southern Goddess Salad. The salad was topped with chicken tenders, avocado, deviled eggs, cucumber, bacon, red onion, corn and tomatoes over butter and romaine lettuce.

The Green Goddess dressing was simply delicious. We can recommend this salad as well because it was fresh and delicious. What's more it too was completely shareable.

Drinks and Cocktails

Splitsville doesn’t disappoint when it comes to drinks and cocktails, offering a great selection that includes:

  • Pina Colada

  • Strawberry Margarita

  • Rum Runner

  • Big Wave Dave

Personally, I tried the Miami Vice and was pleased with the cocktail. In particular, it didn't have that powdery taste premixed cocktails can sometimes have.

Value for Money

The diverse menu caters to various tastes, and the combination of dining, bowling, and entertainment makes Splitsville a unique destination that’s worth every penny. Whether you’re a local or visiting Walt Disney World, you’ll find that Splitsville offers:

  • A wide range of food options to satisfy different preferences

  • The opportunity to enjoy bowling while you dine

  • Live music and entertainment for a fun-filled experience

We found that with our meal coming in around $90, plus the hour and fifteen minutes on the lane, we spent about $150 for our family of three to spend a leisurely morning away from the parks.

Depending on when you visit the parks, this is about the price for one adult in your party to enter the park for the day.

Final Thoughts: A Day Away from the Parks

We thoroughly enjoyed our time away from the parks, battling crowds and waiting in long lines for rides. We needed an escape from the madness, even if just for a day.

Splitsville Orlando was the fun, affordable break from the parks that this little group needed.

We made a day of it by window shopping at Disney Springs and grabbing dessert at Salt & Straw, which has become one of our favorite ice cream treats. If you haven't tried Salt & Straw yet, you are missing a treat.

We like their ice cream so much that we even order it online a couple of times a year. But, that's a story for another day!

After our day out at Splitsville we headed back to the hotel for a pool break. Our outing to Splitsville was truly a nice change of pace.

So there you have it, a fun way to escape the theme park chaos for a few hours without really escaping at all. The upscale retro vibe, tasty food and drinks, and state-of-the-art bowling experience make it worth a day away from the parks.

And who knows, you may just become so enamored with the place that you find yourself sneaking away for another round of burgers, beers, frozen drinks and strikes before your Orlando adventure comes to an end.

Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind experience at Walt Disney World. Get ready to roll, eat, and have a blast at Splitsville Luxury Lanes!

Until next time, Enjoy the journey!
